Long answer, our goals are to make scratch-made meals with whole food ingredients sourced mostly from local & sustainable farmers and purveyors. Our meals are great for most people and will support health and wellness goals so you feel your very best! It's our hope to make eating healthy simple, by providing meals that are really great for the majority of people - local, whole food, and no-processed crap. We unfortunately don't have the staffing to take on special requests unless it's for a large party.
Our head chef and nutrition expert work together to design five new meals each week that are nutrient dense and free of processed sugars, but full of whole food ingredients - mostly fresh vegetables, herbs, and spices. Our meal planning helps controls blood-sugar levels through the use of healthy fats, lean proteins, whole grains, and a variety of fruits & vegetables. Our customers always tell us how satiated they feel!
Foods are labeled with grams of macros (carbs, protein, and fats) for each meal as well as total calories. Each of our nutrition packages have something to offer everyone. If you need help deciding which is best for you, please contact us.
Eating local is the healthiest food because of the quick harvest-to-table turn around, low handling movement, little transportation, and sustainable food practice (like crop rotation!). There is NO reason we shouldn't be eating mostly local!
The majority of our seasonal whole foods are sourced from local small farms with sustainable farming practices upon availability. Some of our favorite farms include: Urban Eden Farm, Piper Farms, and many more up on Green Bluff and at your local farmer's markets in Spokane.
We also source foods throughLINC - Spokane's farm-to-restuarant delivery service - the bridge between small P.N.W. farms and food business in Spokane.
Local nutrition is the best nutrition, so be sure to shop local foods whenever you can!
You must cancel subscriptions and orders before Wednesday's at 9PM to ensure a refund - otherwise we do not offer returns or refunds unless communicated and agreed upon under special circumstances. We will deal with this on a situational basis.
If you are ordering for a large party or special event and need to cancel, we will charge you a $100 cancellation fee if you do not give us a 7-day notice.
As a small food business, we just cannot afford to supply refunds on already cooked or purchased food inventory items and the time it takes our team and chefs to purchase and cook the food. Not to mention, wasted food is a bugger!!
